You're right, Peter, Freddy seems to have swallowed it all hook, line and sinker. What I found most disturbing about Labour was its 'earmarking' i e building new schools and hospitals in strong Labour constituencies, or marginals, but not in Tory strongholds.

And their financial time bombs of PPF 'initiatives' which we shall be overpaying for for decades. Just look at the mess the South Thames NHS trust is in financially and the effect that is having on Lewisham NHS trust. No wonder many such trusts are broke. Disgraceful.
