If I remember rightly she was suspended pending her appeal against conviction. To me this just goes to show that we should always listen carefully to the other side. She lost two children to cot deaths and then her career and then her liberty and then her life to a series of avoidable forensic mistakes. The legal system which we are told to view with, well, at least respect, let her down very, very, very badly.
