I am thankful that my commercial practice is not involved in the sector and I have every sympathy for those lawyers who are genuinely providing a service to the vulnerable. This raises a serious moral issue alluded to a contributor above when they refer to the mountain to climb when facing the insurers lawyers.
I wonder what sort of person is prepared to beat down and deny a claim for injury from a person who cannot afford justice or the risk of litigation. The types of lawyer who are prepared to act for insurers in those circumstances are truly beneath contempt
