Hang on, am I in groudhog day?

Can we just cast our mind back to around 20 years ago when Woolf said the same thing -it's all too expensive - too cumbersome etc etc .... we then end up sitting in court with loose leaf folders of the CPR because they haven't been implemented properly....

Maybe the bright idea of CFAs - that went through no less than five regulatory changes and were then dropped because of satellite litigation.

Or what about the Portal, or Budgeting.... for the love of God, please stop!

Every single time we have some Judge who claims it's all too expensive (but wasn't quite so verbal when in practice) the whole thing becomes even more convoluted - and far, far more impractical - and expensive!
