Interesting, Anon 1.32. I imagine a lot comes down to what the announcement is. It is possible, I suppose, that S&G could decide to withdraw entirely from the Fast Track PI market. If that happened, that division would still have a value, and a book. Under better management (as for example the management previously in place at one or two of the legacy firms), it would still represent a viable business. In my view, it couldn't continue to be listed on the ASX however. The constant need to churn income at any cost in order to appease the market was always going to be a recipe for disaster.
