You should not offer free interviews. You have a huge skill set built up over many years. All law firm marketing tells you that clients place no value on anything you give away free. They just take it for granted. I spent years at a firm offering free advice. Not one client went ahead. Some used to tell me that they went from firm to firm seeking a free advice session from them all. A five minute initial chat to build up some rapport on the telephone is all that is required. In 90% of our cases that isn't even necessary. We have had our staff trained to make appointments and build up rapport. This increased our conversion rate to 85%.
