29TH February 2016 Gazette - . "Oxbridge alumni run the magic circle". "Mesothelioma family under compensated", "Legal aid fight led to closure of Todner firm" "MOJ defends proposal for steep rise in probate fees" and now the troubles with Slater and Gordon . Headlines that are all symptoms of a calculated attack on our justice system, that is summed up on page 4 small left hand corner : "LCJ: We must start again on civil Justice". Lets face it, this Government do not like lawyers, unless they add corporate value and Judges protect judges, not justice. In their naked ambition they have forgotten that before they were judges they were like the rest of us and speaking out for a decent legal system rather than collaborating in eradicating it. Maybe "Judges speak out over fixed costs" is the start of some dissension but I fear too little too late.
