I am more outraged that she has been allowed to keep her benefits! My husband completed 22 years in the British Army, fought in 11 tours and meaningfully contributed to society and when he retired he struggled to find work. The Job Centre told him that because he drew an Army pension he was not entitled to any government assistance - even though his bills outweighed his pension!!

This country is a disgrace and needs to rethink its priorities.

I assumed we paid her Legal Aid bill to fight this for her too??
