We once thought of Magna Carta as a basis of a constitution, after all, most of MC is enshrined in the American constitution. Magna Carta embodies much common law and was signed and sealed by the monarch, King John, in perpetuity. MC carries a clause which protects it from repeal or annulment. There was, in 1970, a very serious offence by the Wilson government, to repeal most of Magna Carta. This, according to MC means that every piece of legislation enacted by Parliament since 1970 is NULL AND VOID. IT ALSO MEANS THAT NO COURT IN THIS LAND HAS ANY STANDING IN LAW.
