We obviously do not have a coherent copnstitution, as Neuberger says.

A little understood, but significant change, occurred when the Queen's prerogative to dissolve Parliament was taken away by the Fixed Term Parliaments Act 2011.. This means in practice that Parliament can legislate to prolong itself indefinitely without anybody to prevent it.

This may not matter too much whilst the Human Rights Convention and EU Treaties preserve our right to move capitgal, set up home and trade wherever we like in the EU (including in the UK). However, if we Brexit these and other economic rights may be threatened. For examle, If on Brexit the currency plunges capital controls may be throught necessary.

And remember when nationalisation of industry and land resources were live issues?

A post Brexit constitution needs thinking about.
