As far as I see it, yes the Defendants got a windfall, but it was only because there wasn't any evidence, never mind any proper evidence, that this client had actually been advised on the issue in question. What previous posters have said is the only assumption to be drawn is that the decision was made for financial reasons but for their benefit rather than the client's.

Further, as I've seen in other posts, this site allows users to post anonymously. There's nothing wrong in that and shame on you for trying to bait the previous poster who had done so anonymously.
