I think Simon is right in that I do not think either side in the debate will be able to present a simple conclusive case to the public. I also think Martin is right to use the word "feel" as I believe the argument will be won by emotion. The Remain faction will include many who regard tradition, different cultures and borders as uncool, irrelevant and anachronistic. I do not think most people in Britain feel like that (and this does not connote hostility) and want us to have more control over our future. It remains to be seen however whether "Project Fear" manages to take precedence.
