The question may come down to whether this government, or the public, have the stomach for the serious resources which will need to be invested in this project.

The IT infrastructure itself which must be secure, fraud-proof (as much as anything can be), easy to use (but not so 'for dummies' that cases take years to progress) and also adaptable. This will not come cheap.

Secondly, the government will ultimately be the ones paying for the raft of hew 'adjudicators'/quasi-Judges needed to hear all of these claims. Quite simply, the currently under-resourced pool of DJ's and DDJ's will not be sufficient and Court staff will absolutely not be able to fill that void. Properly trained and suitably qualified legal professionals will be needed for these purposes.

Personally, I really don't see this happening on a widespread basis. It's clear that this is not a project that can be rolled out within a few months and this government has proven that it has no patience for good practice and gradual implementation.
