Or cynically its to ensure none can challenge the systematic dismantling of the Post War Consensus.

Think about it. You need money (The Legal Aid System has gone), and dedicated practitioners (now replaced by grinning Cherie Blair, Uber-Chambers/Firms pictures of which are now cut and pasted all over the LAG Bulletin routinely), to do this .......
