Jonathan at 2.36 pm has got it spot on. I have never heard of firms actively conniving in bent claims. There are plenty of firms who don't know what they are doing who couldn't properly vet a claim if their lives depended on it. Equally what about all the defendant firms who run defences which are obviously doomed to fail? There are loads of them. The debate needs to move away from the outcome of the claim. We are all capable of winning and losing. When cases are lost that does not mean I am wedded to the evidence.
