Anon at 01.17 pm is quite right . This is incredibly dangerous for us . We will be judged after the event on how things turned out and we won't be able to say we followed the rules because there won't be any!. We all have to make fine judgments at times and occasionally they turn out to be the wrong ones . It's easy for anyone after the race has run to know which horse you should have backed
You wouldn't scrap 90% of the criminal law and have vague principles instead and find that remotely fair
I hope all and the law society will object to this
The reluctance already of the SRA to give forward guidance when a solicitor needs it will I forsee increase . You're on your own mate but choose the wrong option and we will condemn you
