Scotland heed the cautionary tale of England.
I have been a solicitor rather a long time. When I started work there were 21,700 solicitors and there are now over 133,000 - six times as many. The English population has only increased frorm 55m to 64m over the same period. There are now proportionately vastly more solicitors per 1,000 of the population but has this been 'a good thing' - discuss!
