A sad case but all the necessary requirements are there;

1. Dishonesty
2. Lying
3. Fabricating evidence

If you were a client would you have confidence in someone who did these things? I wouldn't. I might overlook a previous cock-up/mistake, because all but a rare few of us can do those.

I can well understand a relatively junior solicitor making a mistake and then absolutely panicking, but there can be no excuse for her actions. Mitigation, perhaps, but we'll never know what that might have been.
