I've had a number of claims fought to the hilt by insurers, and most likely tagged as fraud, but I haven't had a single case lost at court - even where fraud or LVI or any other dressed up nonsense was alleged.

Aviva and others will count the cases they settle or lose at court alomg the way as fraud. The answer then is simple - it's probably the insurers being fraudulent, and creating a ridiculous storm to pretend the 'epidimic' is gathering momentum.

Frankly, insurers have had the run of the press for too long, and many stakeholders are now beginning to challenge insurers claims.

My insurance premium doubled on a quote, despite no claims. This is after the insurers have raked in literally billions post Lapso. I managed to get my quote at less than half with a few phone calls. The insurers attempts to whack me for nearly double is fraudulent. Insurers claims that there's an epidemic of whiplash claims and fraud is also clearly tosh - and designed to create a deceitful picture of the true position.

I'm sitting back and watching the unfolding picture of insurers idiotic assertions dissolve. Lots of lawyers are doing the same - and unfortunately for the insurers, we're all talking to each other...
