Nobody doubts the importance of processes which cut out clerical steps by court staff, judges, judges clerks, lawyers and their staff, photocopying, storage space, travelling parking buildings being devoted to people endlessly waiting around - all good
The intended consequences of these moves to do much online include the cutting down of the profession to a size and at a cost which no longer courts controversy and criticism.
Cannot argue with any of that.
There are some unintended consequences though. Watch the dumbing down and the simple process which does not actually fulfil the wishes of the citizen for a just outome carefully considered.
