If the government can legislate to make soft tissue injury cease to exist one can suppose that the next move will be to start making all sickness and disease disappear at the stroke of the legislative pen.
No more need for the NHS after that. Oh sorry, just realised that the insurance industry would lose an income stream from private medical insurance so better leave the Abolition of Illness Bill in the cupboard.
That will leave time for the Law Reform (Insurance Claims Prevention) Bill to be slid into the Statute Book. Then we can all look forward to insurance premiums dramatically reducing, subject to an adjustment for inflation and increased overheads.
In all seriousness, however, rather than spending time commenting here, it would be better for all of us to be raising awareness about the damage that these proposals are going to do.
