Comment

This thread of comments makes for grim reading.
It seems that we have sunk to new depths. Heaven forbid someone has dared to express concern about his/her job and income ! How very selfish. It’s ok though because “Anonymous” (but no doubt very brave) has @ 8.5.16 6.47 put them straight.
As for the “Most solicitors are ambulance chasers” comment....
The article itself is quite informative but it seems that some see it as a starting pistol for the usual exchange of witty metaphors (ambulance chasing seems to feature most regularly).
So let us avoid descending to these depths. Instead of exchanging blows can we not all accept that some conduct is poor and some conduct is not. Some claims are genuine and others are not. Good conduct and genuine claims fall into a separate category to poor conduct and false/exaggerated claims. Nobody wants a cold call about anything letalone a claim that didn’t happen.
Bad : Fraud on any level; exaggerated claims; dishonesty; poor conduct; sharp practice.
Good : Genuine claims
Let’s not confuse these two categories.
Our local park is threatening to shut because of the mess that dogs make. So it’s going to deprive 99% of the public (and their well behaved dogs) of the joys of the park because of the minute 1% minority. Don’t close the park. Just punish those who are found to be irresponsible.
