Access to Justice has today published it's Strategic Plan as part of A2J's policy to persuade the Government to re-think its Autumn Statement proposals. A2J is on the same page as the Government regarding combatting fraud and strong sanctions to counteract cold calling. We have published our own proposals on fraud subsequent to the IFTF Report, which are located on www.ajag.co.uk

Lord Faulks was clearly repeating government policy from the Autumn Statement. The speech was not corroborated by evidence or facts, as the ABI's assertions re fraud are totally self serving and are made in pursuit of higher profits and shareholder dividends. In fact their unreliable fraud data has misled and hoodwinked the government by completely overstating the extent of fraud as a percentage of all legitimate injured persons who properly wish to recover their losses.
Some measured reform may work, but not to the detriment of injured victims for whom £5000 is an enormous amount of money, particularly when half of that sum might be loss of earnings, caused by the negligence of another.

Every person who works within the PI sector must support this campaign and not leave it to the few. Please all, move away from the coal face for a few moments, and lend this campaign your 100% backing.
