It is apparent to me that there is a lack of understanding throughout the legal profession as to what us McKenzie Friend scna and cannot do. We cannot litigate, we do not have rights of audience and we cannot manage the case. We offer support and advice but that is all. I presume that the negative comments are largely from lawyers who have lost cases to litigants in person supported by a MF and you're a bit sore about it. Cases are lost on the facts and not usually on the quality of the representation, or otherwise. The reason that there is a market for MF's is that LiPs cannot afford the ridiculous high street fees. You have the answer in your own hands.
