Can't afford high Street fees?? That's because we have offices, have insurance, pay national insurance, pay vat, pay taxes. the point of being a solicitor isn't just to help people or to do good but to make a profit to survive and pay employee salaries and personal bills.
Doing work for nowt or for less than is profitable isn't good business sense.
The problem with "professional" McKenzie Friends is that the masquerade as professional without any training or learned expertise. Talking about winning or losing cases is an example of how unprofessional and misguided McKenzie Friends are. It isn't about winning or losing but about representing a client's best interests and trying to ensure the law is applied correctly and justly.
