"Father wins right to fight with his children over their grandmother's estate" is the title I would have given this post. Wasn't it obvious to all concerned that this is what gran would immediately have done?

And how much has all this cost so far? I would guess about £150,000. If that is correct everyone's a loser.

Better still "Father squanders children's inheritance in selfish attempt to claim in ex-mother-in-law's estate" might sum it up more accurately.
