Professor Ireland is to be heartily congratulated and saluted for her courage. The findings of her report are absolutely correct.

I am a member of the European Group for Legal Expertise and we have been working now of several years on developing a system to weed out duff expert, of which three are sadly far too many.

This is not only a problem in psychology but in several other scientific disciplines, particularly medical science.
