I respect Joshua Rozenberg's opinions as a rule but I must disagree here. I was surprised that he should have tried to throw doubt on the credibility of the allegations. There was sufficient evidence to bring Janner to trial 25 years ago. What we want from Goddard is an authoritative confirmation of this, and, even more, an investigation of how this happened and who was responsible.

We, the ordinary people of this country, are depending on Goddard to speak plainly about the corruption of this cover-up by the establishment - of this and other crimes against children.
