The judiciary needs the freedom from external influence that guarantees independance. That can mean that in the interests of that independance we may sometimes have to put up with judicial behaviours that in other circumstances would not be tolerated. I think the question is whether there is evidence that His Honour is irremediably unsuitable for his post. It's not my call, but I don't see it. It's a slippery slope when you start publicly criticising judges.
