I can't wait for the LSG to publish a piece called "Israel and the Rule of Law" examing the illegal occupation and brutal suppression of the rights of those living under Israeli Military law in the West Bank- whilst the illegal settlers enjoy the protection of the IDF and Israeli civil law. Or a comparative analysis of the system of apartheid that Arab Israelis live under in the State of Israel. Or the fact that despite 140 UN Security Council (yes Security Council not General Assembly) resolutions being passed against Israel not one sanction has been introduced against it. Who would of thought that one little democratic country- the champion of start-ups and LGBT community- would have so many fundamental legal issues to be addressed but which - apart from the odd mitherings here and there- seems to have escaped the laser-like attention of the LSG. Instead we have to put up with Blacker-gate and all the trappings thereof.
