What will be the effects of the traditional court process being fragmented in the way envisaged?

How will a jury retain the necessary overview of the whole process?

The Briggs review talks about civil servants not lawyers dealing with the resolution of claims for under £25,000.

Just because a learned judge comes up with a vision, doesn't mean it is not without its problems.

There is a fundamental flaw at the heart of much government policy, which is many of life's problems can be dealt with purely by technology. There are limits, and I worry that further cuts to the diminishing justice budget will be quietly dressed up as "jurisprudential visions"
