I think I agree in some way with what you say. The pompous, gay (in the literal sense) Public School playing and dancing around around at the Bar and in Civil proceedings has reached epidemic proportions. The problem is that either the DDJ's and DJ's don't know how to combat it (purely for example they could be why has the other side been prejudiced by anything or why does it matter that the wrong form was used because the Judge was on the toilet when s/he received the Claim Form and not dressed (I can't seeeeeeee yooooouuuuu ....), rather than that evidence / the case is struck out, but don't).

I suspect that although the MOJ are now getting grips with it slowly, the DDJ/DJ racket has been a place shame for piss poor Barristers who couldn't earn in private practice..
