Well the good news , Mr Fearnley, is that we are coming out - and quite good enough, I'd have thought, to be going on with.

But I did put at least one question peculiarly well suited to the users of this site. I asked whether any constitutional lawyers amongst us could explain how, under the British system, the decision of 23rd June might have been made more binding than it already is. That wasn't a rhetorical or a trick question. I was genuinely seeking information. No one so far has risen to the challenge.
