A few days ago someone posted his view that something needed to be done to make litigation affordable to the vast majority and not just the wealthy or the few still entitled to legal aid of some sort. I agree but when I see the comments posted here which are so critical of attempts to reform the system to make it less costly and more affordable I sometimes wonder if the only way to do this is to take the lawyers out of the process. There is already less lawyer involvement in employment and family issues perhaps because too many lawyers have been too concerned with the law and not enough about their clients
