Anon @ 11:32 while I would tend to agree that the debate here and within the parameters of the insurance industry and solicitors profession should be measured polite and professional that is not how the battle will be won.

The battle will be won on the pages of the Metro, Mirro, Sun and Mail .

As such we need stories along the lines of 'rip off Britain' 'Brexit banditry' 'Car Insurance Con for their City Mates' (for the Mirror 'natch) we need to close with, engage and kill the enemy and the only means of doing this is to win the battle in the public space: so let's have a Watchdog investigation into policy pricing, a You & Yours (zzzz) special on poor claims handling and a Panorama expose of the briefing of HMG.
