David Cameron said he would invoke A50 the day after our vote. he resigned instead. Theresa May had both the right and the responsibility to invoke A50 the day she became Prime Minister. Someone please quote me chapter and verse of the 'advisory' nonsense. I can't find it in the Referendum Act of 2015. That Act, passed by parliament, necessarily anticipated the result either way and by dint of passing that Act, Parliament impliedly accepted the implementation of the result. They don't need to vote again - only to expose their variance with the wishes of the majority of this country. However, we may welcome such a vote as it will inform the country who not to return to Parliament at the next election.
