Like most modern, principle-free politicians Truss will clearly do anything to keep the tabloid newspapers happy. Hence her failure to do her job and defend the "Enemies of the People". Given the media's inability to differentiate between "the law" and "fat cat shifty lawyers" interesting times lie ahead.
