My apologises and you are correct somehow the Judicial College Guidelines have various valuations for soft tissue injury but I cant find much in relation to whiplash injuries where claimants do not attend the recommended rehabilitation or indeed visit their local GP but instead chose to battle the pain and ring a solicitor?
And to be honest I don't agree with compensation for minor injuries pure and simple, the nature of insurance is to place the person back in the position they were prior to the neglect of the defendant, as such a payment for compensation is actually more than I feel they are entitled to for minor injuries and I think lies the crux of the reforms
