I have to say I found this article a little disheartening. It seems somewhat of a contradiction to note the obstacles preventing women advancing in their career, but then to speak out against awards recognising women who succeed in doing so.

I am also a bit fed up that the Law Society are spending our subscription fees on honouring mainly large city firms with 'razzmatazz' while smaller firms continue to struggle financially.
