As an 'out' and proud member of the Conservative Party it never fails to amuse me how it is deemed acceptable to traduce and belittle a large section of the electorate for having at the highest questionable morals, lacking in empathy, being selfish and so on and so on.

The amusement is always heightened by the pantomime rage when a Tory says something that the left can turn puce over and spit feathers over particularly when the same type of accusation is leveled at someone 'of the left' (see the antisemitism row with prominent leftish figures) there is the sort of mental and terminological gymnastics that would make Prof Sokal's eyes bleed.

Usually these sorts of comments can be written off as harmless ignorance but in the current situation where we have the proposed reforms which will cause lasting damage to the system of justice & etc that require mature, detailed and reasoned response jejune nonsense such as yours really isn't helpful.

If you want a lefty echo chamber to sl*g off us Tories as 'lower then vermin' I'm sure there's no shortage, so can you please avoid it here.
