We have all sat back for too long and allowed TLS and other representative bodies to fail to make the case for access to justice.
No-one cares if solicitors earn less. However people being messed about by the system because they are unrepresented or women being "abused" in family court by ex-partners or criminal cases being conducted so badly that the victim feels victimised all over again, should be our opportunity to point out what a mess this Government and previous Government have made of justice and to ask why access to justice is being limited. Even NHSLA can have a go and the response is a mild whimper. We deserve what we get because we have failed to fight for access to justice for British citizens and too often have concentrated on discussions about our fee income.
