Her resignation letter is pretty damning. She has put a lot of unflattering material into into the public domain, including the fact that even the Council of the Society thinks the Society is "moribund".

In truth, it's not moribund. It's dead. A waste of money and space, which has lost the ear of the government and the trust and confidence of the profession. So profound is the profession's lack of interest and belief in the Society that only a handful of people can even be bothered to comment on this news.
