The Law Society used to have responsibility for complaints against solicitors. It had a 3-pronged approach

A Ignore them in the hope that complainants went away
B If this failed try to eliminate them with legalistic arguments
C If things got too hot - sack the head of the complaints department and give it another name.

Eventually the Government lost patience and sacked LS

It looks to me as though LS is facing another round of push because it won't jump.

There is a need for the Business Department to embrace continual professional improvement for all professional bodies.

Ms Dixon would make an excellent advisor alongside Prof Susskind
