I don't think Solicitors expect TLS to respond to consultations at all. I think Solicitors expect TLS to represent our interests and to stop cuddling up to Government. Just think how much money we'd save if TLS stopped responding to consultations. The Government would then have to pay for expert advice instead of getting it for free.
If TLS scrapped all the committees and boards and the council members started acting on our behalf instead of the public interest we all might be in a much better place ie we'd have a representative body and it would cost a lot less.
