According to the Law Society's financial statements for y/e 31 Oct 15 (on the LS website), some members of the Law Society's various boards and committees were not paid. But the Chair of Audit Committee got £29k, Chair of SRA Board got £91k, Chair of Business Oversight Board got £26.5k, members of that Board got £7,200 plus £2,400 for being on the Remuneration Committee, Chair of Remuneration Committee got £14,600, members of SRA Board each got £12.5k plus an extra £5k for chairing committees.
Quite a sum particularly when some of the above appear to have 12-15 members.
