Seems I'm in good company. Resigned from a Law Society committee (voluntary role) at the end of last year due to their high handedness, lack of support and inefficiency.

Sad to go, as I found there to be many able people around, some great staff and a lot of work to be done but ultimately realised I'm at the age and stage where nailing jelly to the wall, herding cats and pushing water uphill have long lost any appeal.

Good luck to Ms Dixon, I think she was doing her best by us and I was impressed by her vision.

Now we have a brewery with a vacancy.

Doh.
