Yes Anon 16:07 but they do fail to get passed firewalls and other security measures and any system virus also means that delivery is not guaranteed once sent is pressed. I had a look at this recently and various articles put the failure rate at 1-20%. Emails are more likely to be ignored by the receiver precisely because of the huge volume of junk/scam emails being sent these days.
