The problem for solicitors is that there are not too many Tory held constituencies in the areas affected as law firms dealing with this type of work tend to be in more urban areas. In fact there are very few Tory MPs in Merseyside, Manchester and Humberside. I suspect that the job losses would largely fall in traditionally safe Labour seats, so who on the Tory benches will be voting against the reforms?
