I think I need re-evaluate the second statement.

Apropos the joke about Mr O'Leary wandering into a bar off O'Connell street and asking for a pint: he's pleasantly surprised to be told that it is 1 euro, so he digs in his pocket and pulls out a 1 euro coin, the barman asks if he wants a glass with that pint, and that'll be a further 1 euro 20, and so it carries on 'now then Michael, did you order that pint online etc etc.

Having a will drawn, a conveyance completed, divorce etc will have common elements but even in run of the mill matters will be impossible to give a good estimate: and therefore give 'price transparency' until one has a good idea of the instructions.

What this is about is the sale of data to price comparison websites so that we can all engage in a race to the bottom crushing our professional colleagues and prostituting our ethical standards as we go.
