There appears to be a gap in consumer understanding and reality. I have noticed that on the back of the trend to google for the cheapest conveyancing available and instruct a firm many miles away based on price that I then receive enquiries from said firm many miles away asking what we would charge to witness the Legal Charge as the client lives too far away from their offices. As an aside they also attach the said Legal Charge with full client details (lets forget the DPA or client confidentiality for a moment). I wonder if this additional costs element is included in the cheapo quote that induced the clients away from the convenience of good local personal services and all the benefits that go with them. How do you close the gap between consumer understanding and industry knowledge?
